Seems like a quirky one but perhaps someone might be able to help me out. This wasn't a problem for me under ArcGIS 9.x and I moved to ArcGIS 10 a few months ago.
In ArcMap when I go to add an img file the img files in that folder are not listed. Similarly in ArcCatalog no img files are shown in the contents for that folder.
To check I opened an existing mxd project that had these img files curious to see if they displayed.
They displayed OK so I tried to go and add a img file that already is in the project again but no img files were listed when I navigated to that img file's folder.
Others within our organisation don't have the problem.
