moving nodes with topology tool

This is my first day editing in 10.1
I am using the topology tool to snap a node in one feature class to a node in an adjacent feature class.
After selecting the node and snapping it to the other, the two polygons that share the node that was snapped move also.
I do not have the entire polygon selected just the shared node.  Never had this problem in any previous version.

Anyone else seeing this?  Thanks

Hi Mark,
In 10.1 we changed the default 'stretching' behavior while editing topology elements.
You can toggle this under the editor options topology tab.
