What other connections, if any, will be added in future updates?

As the question suggests:

What other connection types can we expect support for in the future? I currently work with several clients in a number of various settings where using Pipelines could save a lot of time and effort in writing Pandas and API to retrieve data from SQL datastores.

Can we (eventually) expect complete support for ODBC connections?

Thank you for your inquiry. Data Pipelines will support additional data sources in the future, but no specific types are promised for specific releases. You can find more info in the FAQ topic.

Could you please provide us with more details on the type of data source you're looking to connect to? For example, is it SQL Server, PostgreSQL, other? And where are the databases hosted? For example, on premise or in the cloud? Any details you can provide us will help us understand which sources we should support in future releases.

We have been looking at Data pipelines for getting the information in ArcGIS Online, but we miss a connection Azure SQL database. 

We would like to know if this connection will become available anytime soon.
