This idea serves as a shoutout and thank-you to the people who share their flex and silverlight plug-ins. I know my application is much more powerful thanks to these people.
I propose that ESRI reward these super cool generous geniuses who have taken the time out of their busy schedules to compile and share their hard work with the rest of us who are not as educated in the dark arts of programming.
Possible rewards could be ESRI UC registration, software license fees or even the oh so sexy ESRI swag. Rewards could be based on number of downloads or positive reviews.
