A Transmission Boom is needed - how are you addressing this?

This DIVE article describes the need for a Transmission Boom to support renewable efforts. 

2-3X today's transmission in the next 12 years. 

Historically, that would be impossible. 

How are you addressing this?

Great discussion point @Pat_Hohl! Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas as this appears to be front and center with respect to the energy transition and we'd love to hear how you all are addressing/working to address this.

I know when I was working in the energy sector, we saw a  near 1000% growth in transmission interconnection requests within the territories we operated....what about you?

Great article - Also the link to NREL's SEAM discussion is fascinating. The DOE has long since worried that our transmission system is sub optimized.
