Transmission Workflows

Please add to the workflows listed in this slide - I'd like to get a list of the most common workflows that are performed by electric transmission organizations. Then it would be great to have companies that could or do use GIS in their workflows.

I would add Raptor Protection aka Bird Guarding along with Interconnections. Some of these I would consider very high level buckets (departmental functions) that warrant sub listing major workflows within. Also a.) I am unclear on what painting is and b.) see you have painting listed twice. Thanks Bill!

Thanks for replying. The painting refers to tower painting. We used to do this regularly and it had its problems - requiring special workers. Yup, it is listed twice - good catch. Also, Raptor Protection/ Bird Guarding should be added. You are correct, these are high-level workflows. I'd like to dig deeper into these. Hey folks, can you provide more detailed workflows particularly those that you perform in which you don't use GIS, but could.
