Search map not visable on intial load.

When the search page is initially rendered, the search map doesn't appear.  If I reload the page, it shows up.  Works fine in chrome, not ie or ff.  Here is the dojo error I am getting

TypeError: dojox.gfx.createSurface is not a function

Well, I think I fixed it sort of.  Had to backtrack to 2.0 jsapi.  Not sure this is desirable but a work around for now.
