Get started with Arcade expressions in ArcGIS.

Esri Academy's next live training seminar dives into fundamental concepts of the Arcade expression language and how it is used to configure custom content across the ArcGIS system. Expert presenters Travis Ormsby and Kevin Priestley will demonstrate popular Arcade use cases, show the steps to quickly build and share Arcade expressions, and give a brief overview of Arcade profiles, which enhance the language's performance and security.

Goals:

• Understand how Arcade expressions differ from Python scripts and ArcGIS application programming interface (API) technologies.
• Apply correct syntax to build a basic Arcade expression.
• Access an Arcade expression built in ArcGIS Pro when using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Apps.
