I have a web map on Portal for ArcGIS 10.5.1, and have the search function enabled for my map. The attribute I have it set up to search from is a string field that contains numerical codes (ex. 10-555-235). However, upon trying to search for those locations the search widget within Portal does not return anything, even if I type the code in it's entirety (ex. 10-55-235), type only a portion (ex. 555), or even if I change the search settings in the web map details (i.e. contains/equals). Is there a limitation on the search functionality of Portal that prevents it from handling this kind of search? Can it not effectively search and return numerical attributes?
