Location: Remote work available, but must be located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver web or stand-alone applications for geospatial technology in natural resource management.
  • Develop websites, web map viewers, non-spatial web applications, and complex spatially-enabled interactive websites.
  • Collaborate with teams to seamlessly incorporate geospatial technology into projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an application developer.
  • Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON.
  • Proficiency in Java or .Net development.
  • Familiarity with front-end JavaScript libraries.
  • Experience with RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS or other relevant SQL databases.
  • Understanding of geospatial data formats and coordinate systems.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant professional work experience. -OR-
  • Graduate degree and five (5) years of relevant professional work experience. -OR-
  • PhD degree and three (3) years of relevant professional work experience.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
