Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is hiring a GIS Support Specialist to performs specialized technical work in the analysis, preparation, maintenance and development of Fire Rescue's Geographic Information System (GIS) projects. For the full job description please see the post at the link below.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Surveying/Mapping, Engineering or related field; minimum of one (1) year of experience utilizing GIS software applications. Equivalencies: Related Associate's Degree/unrelated Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of related experience; graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification and five (5) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Fire Rescue operations; using Esri's ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, Geomedia or other GIS software (must specify on application); Intergraph CAD Systems.
