Hey guys,
Just asking about the idea to do some projects via GIS products helping me in internship presentation

I already did some tutorials to learn a lot about ArcGIS products but I would like to do some mapping from nothing with tutorials too.

So can you give me your suggestions??

Hi @FadyHabib, for your broad question about coming up with project ideas you may want to check out the Esri Young Professionals Network Questions Board where conversations especially relevant to those earlier in their GIS careers are being had. As far as learning how to do mapping via tutorials, check out the Esri Training area of our platform, which is a gathering point for information about Esri's training materials and programs—some of which are free! Tagging @KatieSmith who may be able to suggest a starting point in your learning journey. All the best!

Hi @FadyHabib, kudos to you on searching for resources to grow your GIS and mapping skills. My #1 recommendation to you would be to join Esri's free Cartography. massive open online course (MOOC) happening right now. Registration closes on April 17, so sign up now: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/596e584bb826875993ba4ebf/cartography/ You'll learn how to create beautiful, informative maps using ArcGIS Pro—and Esri provides all the software you need. Experts like Ken Field and John Nelson helped create this course, and it's a great one!

Here is a bookmarked page of some additional Esri Academy mapping resources for you: www.esri.com/training/Bookmark/F3WC2RVJN

Best of luck with your presentation!

Hi @FadyHabib - not sure if you have done the presentation already or not but if not here are my suggestions:
-Write down some broad topics that interest you - are you interested in environment, social, health related research for example? It's most fun to do a project when you are interested in it!
-In areas that interest you, have a look and see what data is freely available for you download and use - sometimes the hard part is finding good open access data so if you can first see what is available then you can build a question around that. This varies a lot depending what topic you are looking at, and what area of the world
-Once you have found some data, try to build questions around it. Keep it simple and think how you can use GIS to find an answer to a question, perhaps exploring a potential relationship between two datasets

Good luck and have fun!
