Details regarding a new security vulnerability identified as CVE-2021-44228 (aka Log4Shell aka LogJam) were recently released.This issue is generating considerable media attention.
We wanted to make you all aware that LocalMaps does not use log4j for logging and is not vulnerable to this. ArcGIS may be affected based on the version you are using.
Eagle and Esri are aware of and actively investigating the impact of CVE-2021-44228 to other ArcGIS software and services with high priority. This situation continues to evolve, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
