If I want to transfer the layer of points that has UTM 6 degree ED50 datum from ArcMap to Google Earth, is a necessity to convert points from ED50 to WGS84? Google Earth is based on WGS84. I am thinking ArcMap maybe convert to WGS84 automatically, because KML is working with just WGS84. Or maybe I need to Project tool for convert? Which one is true?

You will need to project - UTM metres to GCS (geographic degrees) and transform the datum from ED50 to WGS84.

Datum transformations :

ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2)

You can do this in 1 step in the project tool or export from the data frame in ArcMap.

You can search here

ArcGIS Help 10.1

and use the toolboox.

Also a good program to change coordinate system is Global Mapper
