I am fairly new to ArcGIS and I would like to know if it is possible to create a series of maps in one ArcGIS file some that will be 8.5X11 and some that would be 11X17.  I think I can manage to use the data driven pages to generate multiple pages on the same page size with the same layout but can I somehow haver different layouts for different size pages in the same document.  If anyone knows how to do this or knows of a help topic that would be great.
Thanks for any help

You have to have a grid that is of uniform size.  So if you want two different scales you will have to have two different grids.  If they will be the same scale but blown up to 11x17 you can create two mxds with different layouts and do datadriven pages on both.  Then just print the pages you need.

I would save separate layouts as a template so you only have to make changes to one MXD rather than maintain two MXD's.
