Good evening to everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to define as a polygon, an area comprised between other polygons (without selecting each point manually). For example: is it possible to define as a polygon the area of a lake? The land surrounding the lake is made of many polygons, but the area of the lake is not totally surrounded by land (it is not exactly closed)

When you start editing at the bottom of your create features dialog box should Construction Tools use auto complete polygons click inside the polygons that exist covering the area you want to get between them. When you finish there should be a polygon between the two existing polygons.

You could create one polygon that has all other polygons inside and then use the Erase tool to cut out the polygons.
