I have found a macro AutoAddLines (http://arcscripts.esri.com/details.asp?dbid=13012) that is very useful for drawing perpendicular lines from points to existing street polylines (see attached jpg). However it is a little cumbersome to use with multiple datasets. Does anyone know of a python script that will perform the same function or is there a way to convert the Macro into a script?
