11:30 AM - 12:30 PM PDT (2:30 PM - 3:30 PM EDT)

Join your peers worldwide in this Special Interest Group (SIG) for a lively discussion on geospatial collaboration!

What is purpose-driven collaboration, and how do we achieve our common goals? From local to global, you – leaders building and coordinating your geospatial communities of practice, GIS councils, and partners – are implementing new patterns that integrate your geospatial infrastructure to address shared challenges. This SIG brings us together to share successes and lessons learned and contribute to a growing body of good practices. We'll build on existing related efforts such as next-gen Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI/NSDI), UN GGIM IGIF, SDGs, and Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure (GKI).

Special guests: Megan Compton, Indiana Geographic Information Office; Eamonn Clinton, Ordnance Survey Ireland; Jonathan Holt, Southern California Association of Governments; Dr. Thembi Xaba, Managing Director, Digital Earth Africa
