I have suitable sites for wind turbines based off of a number of topographic, geologic, and social data. I have intersected those sites with a map of my state, which gives the area of each polygon individually and the town name where each polygon is located in the attribute table. Often, there are many suitable polygons within one town. Is there a way that I can obtain a table which sums all of the suitable polygons' areas of each town so I can make a ranking of which towns have the most suitable area?
