Create overlapping polygons and retain data from a polyline feature set

Using ArcInfo 10.3: I need to create overlapping but discrete polygons from a set of polylines that were created from an Excel table of vertex coordinates (created by "Points to Line" tool). Each polygon to be created is represented by one closed polyline and each polyline has a unique ID#. Unfortunately, the "Feature to Polygon" tool creates line intersects at the polygon overlaps and therefore fragments the polygons. And it also drops any data attributes from the lines used to create them (ID#). Is there a method or tool that will create one polygon for each closed polyline record (without intersecting) and retain the individual ID# data within the created polygons in order to use the ID# for a later data join? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I found a set of third party GIS tools that easily accomplish this: "Tools for Graphics and Shapes", the Convert Polylines to Polygons tool, created by Jenness Enterprises. See link: Jenness Enterprises - ArcGIS Tools; Tools for Graphics and Shapes

This tool set loaded very easily into ArcGIS 10.3 on Windows 7 Pro. Only used the one tool so far but it worked perfectly for the tasks described above. Done. Problem solved. Thanks, Jeff Jenness.
