ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2: Why the GWR requires at least 20 features in order to run?

I couldn’t figure out why the GWR requires at least 20 features in order to run. The number of required features (observations) need to be associated to the number of independent variables. Mathematically, based on the OLS, in order to be able to calculate the coefficients of the independent variables and constant, the minimum number of observations need to be greater than or equal the number of independent variables + 1

Is that correct?

How Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) works—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

The reference to 20 features minimum originates in this description

When there are more than 1000 features in a dataset, the maximum distance is the distance at which any feature has at most 1000 neighbors. The minimum distance is the distance at which every feature has at least 20 neighbors. If there are less than 1000 features, the maximum distance is the distance at which every feature has n/2 neighbors (half the number of features as neighbors), and the minimum distance is the distance at which every feature has at least 5 percent of n (5 percent of the features in the dataset as neighbors).

You seem to have selected a user-defined scheme with 120 m distance... were they the defaults or did you try other options?
