Question for those of you publishing web apps behind firewalls

We are running into issues with our SonicWALL firewall and SQL query statements. The firewall interprets certain queries, such as the ParcelQuery in the TaxParcelViewer, as SQL Injection attacks and stops them. This is/was a known bug (http://www.cvedetails.com/cve/CVE-2012-4949/) that was addressed in 10.1 with a patch (http://support.esri.com/en/downloads/patches-servicepacks/view/productid/66/metaid/1930). The problem is, even after installing the patch, the firewall still flags this traffic.
My question to those of you who are using TaxParcelViewer (or similar apps) is, first of all, are you going through a firewall? If so, how are you getting around this? Are there alternatives to query statements that won't cause issues with the firewall?

Hi Jay,

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm experiencing the exact same issue as the one you described.

thanks!
