Well I have been defeated by technology today. I have downloaded the apps, that we are studying especially Survey 123 but.. in spite of the advice, though I have done the lessons and followed instructions. No log in. I can't log into anything but ESRI.com

I thought that was bad, but now I cannot even log into Geonet. This morning I was studying the architecture of privacy so I get why the log ins are complicated but..This is what I get

https://community.esri.com/login.jspa It says it is going to log in, but. .. it does nothing.

The same thing happens on the apps when I get ready to sign in.???

It says it is going to sign in but it does nothing.I did change the sign in and that worked for awhile.. but then no Geonet.

I did have fun organizing my data from an interesting book. Precious Cargo.

This is kind of based on the "Seeds of Change" How Foods from the Americas changed the world. There is so much on food on social media, I thought that would be a good quiz

Peanuts

Potatoes

Pineapples

Hot Peppers

Corn ( Zea Maize)

Then I was going to make a map.

Ever heard of a Pineapplearium?

How many kinds of potatoes do you know about?

Peanuts in gold? I need to put this survey up.

Bonnie

Help please!!!

We are aware of the GeoNet login issue, and we have put a fix in place. You should be able to login now. Thanks!

I experienced the same thing earlier on a mac. Happy to say I am back in!

Hi Bonnie-

Sorry you are having problems.  I work on a Mac as well, and ArcGIS Online, GeoNet, and Survey 123 should all work for you.  Have you tried the troubleshooting steps that cfitzpatrick-esristaff recommends anytime you have trouble?  If I remember correctly, they are in order:

1.  Try a different browser

2.  Try a computer re-start

3.  Try clearing the browser cache  (I find that I have to do this frequently if I want things in GeoNet to look normal)

I'm not sure what you mean when you say that you "changed the sign in and it worked for awhile," but one thing to remember is that you can have different sign ins for these different things.  For example, I GeoNet and Administer the NH State License under my "public" account (iahern) but do most of my ArcGIS Online work under either my school organizational account (prhs_iahern) or our NHEdGIS organizational account (nhedgis_iahern).  I have to be careful that I'm either using different browsers or that I sign out of the organizational accounts before I attempt to go to GeoNet.  Remember also that organizational accounts would need to have "Esri Access Enabled" in order for you to be able to GeoNet from them.  Good luck!

Bonnie,

I have experienced similar difficulties, and it is frustrating.

I use the same user name and password for everything, except the t3g account; nonetheless, I write down my UN and PW for each group:  ArcGIS Online, Geonet, and Developer.

When I got my UN and PW mixed up while doing a MOOC with Esri, I used the online help.

I know I'm rambling, but I want to let you know you aren't alone, and persevere.

Thank you. I think I guess when I make a mistake and I am here alone , so frustrating no one to ask and then I just decided to ask. What a relief with the answers that came in. The whole Mac vs PC thing is always a pain. So many were helpful.

I got several great answers and found that there were others who had a problem/ and that administration was aware of the problem. I am content driven

and not a tech specialist. I always get pretty upset when technology does not work so the difference in being online is softened by the time that people took to

help me. Thank you all.

I am also content-driven, but I want to learn the technology.  I learn slower than the average, but I learn.
