Dear all,

I am trying to get, separately, the two slopes belonging to a subbasin. I have done all the steps of the Terrain Processing tool (HECGeoHMS)  in order to get the subbasions of an area. Then I have created an HMS Project. I have realised there are several tools which allow to work with subbasins and modify them, but I have been unable to separate the subbasions into their two slopes (each side of the river). I know I can superimpose drainage line with subbasins in order to get them on an automatically way, but problems comes when it is working in the first order subbasin, where the drainageline does not reach the top of such a subbasin.

I would be very grateful if someone could help.

Yours sincerely.

Guillem

Might work to start at the "outlet" cell and using your flow direction and flow accumulation rasters create a path moving "upslope" according to the flow direction grid to the cell with the highest accumulation value in the accumulation raster. Seems like it should work....in my head...
