Modify widget label

Using WebApp builder 1.3, is it possible to modify one of the config files to change the Label on widgets once activated so i don't have to redownload it? If so, which config file and where does it sit? - New to this web app builder game.

Sure in the apps main config.json you can find the widget and there is a label property for each widget listed there.

   Your question has me confused. Widgets already have an icon/image.

See image below.  I have the layerlist widget open in the sidebar.  I would like to add image and link along side the label.

   That would take a good deal of code to customize that theme to allow for that.
