Parks and Rec Finder : Bit.Ly blocked by some Government organizations. Alternative?

I tried to 'Share' a map with someone in another government organization (I work for city government myself) and because the bit.ly url was in the e-mail it was blocked completely from showing up. It didn't go to their junk mail, it wasn't retrievable by some mystical outlook voodoo, it just was not allowed through.

So my question is this... Is there some way to dismantle or turn off the URL shortener?

Hello Brian,

What version of the application are you using? It the primary color of the application green or is it green\white?

(There may be a version.txt that exists in the root level of the application folder too. If you have that information then please provide that as well)
