Hi everyone!

I'm currently trying to interpolate some point data using IDW and kriging... except there is constantly an error executing the function. I can't find where I have made the mistake, any suggestions?

Here's the error message... attached is also the data I'm trying to plot! I have also attached a higher res photo of my error message screen...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Kelvin.

you should never be using folders that contain spaces for either the inputs or outputs, try fixing that first

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your quick reply. I have followed your tip of removing all the spaces from the inputs and outputs folders and files but it still doesn't work...

Any other ideas?

Best,

Kelvin.

Another quick update.

I turned off background processing and resaved the excel files as .csv format and it seemed to work now.

Is it all down to just the format it was in then?

The last screenshot has an invalid output grid name -- contains a quote (')

Output Esri grids must be named properly - start with a letter, only a-z0-9_ and 13 chars is the length limit. If you violate these rules you are probably going to get a 999999 error.
