We have a subdivision dataset that we'd like to get in sync with our parcel fabric, it was at one point in the past. We're trying to circumvent having to manually correct all our subdivision features by using the association and feature adjustment methods of the parcel fabric.The fabric is several years old and the subdivisions are in a standard feature class outside the fabric. I'm able to associate the subdivision to the fabric and run an adjustment on the subdivisions based on the historical least squares values, but the results aren't any good. The subdivision dataset does get adjusted but it's not brought into sync with the parcels. Often the adjustments make the subdivision data worse.
Can anyone share their experiences with the association and feature adjustment methods in the parcel fabric? How about with an old dataset after many least-squares adjustments have been performed? Is this a viable method for fixing out-of-sync data, or for keeping data in sync once it's in good shape?
