Hi,

I would like to use the Union (Spatial) * method with multiple input features, but this doesn't seem to be allowed within Runtime as you can't get an Advanced license for the Runtime environment? Is that correct?

*: Union (Spatial) method: ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2)

License: With ArcGIS for Desktop Basic and Standard licenses, the number of input feature classes or layers is limited to two.

Greetings Bjorn

Edit/update: error message while executing GPK:

Failed to execute. Parameters are not valid.

ERROR 000384: Cannot have more than 2 inputs with the ArcView or ArcEditor license

Failed to execute (Union).

Hi Bjorn,

What is the input data type you have specified for the model to get the list of feature classes/sets? If possible are you able to share your GPK?

We can definitely add this to the list of tools under consideration for the roadmap, but I would like to explore whether it's possible to achieve what you want with the current tool, but perhaps with a different input setup.

Note, if we do add/modify the tool then it would only be included in the next major release of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET, when we are planning to upgrade the LocalServer to the latest ArcGIS libraries, upgrade Python, etc.

Cheers

Mike
