Hi,

ArcGIS online has hug map layers like Living Atlas Layers - Imagery, Historical Maps, more ...

I'd like to know if possible, Is this way to connect all Categories in this Living Atlas Layers from JavaScript API into our web application?

Thanks,

Tom

As a general statement, I tend to doubt it. Third party content that has been submitted for inclusion may be usable with the JS API (BPA transmission lines, for example) but I think most content requires using an ArcGIS Online account to access it. You may be able to study the network activity and ferret out the REST endpoint URL but I think you'll end up running into authentication requirements.

Thanks Steve for sharing thoughts! You are making a good point about ArcIGS Online accounts to access.

We all see the value of maps from Esri Open Data. Esri basemaps are in ArcGIS Online and in JavaScript API widget. Also Esri some GP tools are in ArcGIS Online and Javascript API to access. I'd love to see an easy way to access Atlas Maps from Esri JavaScript API. ArcGIS Online is a great direction but sometime we have to pick a ArcGIS Server solution. Please advise!
