How can I export a 1 bit tif file from ArcMap? I am using the Image Analyst window to clip several 1 bit tif files (raster scans) and then using the mosaic to stitch them together. I then want to export, or save to a permanent 1 bit tif, but the export automatically bumps it up to 8 bit. I have also tried copy raster and forced to 1 bit output, but the quality is not the same. I have done this operation exactly in the past and ended up with small, 1 bit mosaic tifs. Maybe that was an older version on ArcMap. I am running ArcMap Standard 10.2 and Advanced 10.3. Thanks
