Good Morning,

I have been "surfing" the internet looking for answers to the famous Named User accounts using portal.  We are currently using a public facing Portal website so we can have access to our data from anywhere.  The problem is that we are currently using the built in identity store in Portal with only 5 Named User accounts.

My question is if we switch to using lets say our Windows Active Directory does this mean anyone in our directory can access the data, or am I still limited to only 5 users.  I can't find a clear answer and don't want to spend thousands of dollars for purchasing "Named Users" when most of them will be viewing only.  And turning everything to public is not a real option either, as I would like to take advantage of groups.

Any clarification or other information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
