Will Survey 123 allow you to specify an existing point feature as your survey collection location? In Collector there is a "collect here" option after highlighting an existing point. An example situation would be asset inspections where you already have survey quality locations and the inspector who will be filling the form is using a tablet with less accurate GPS.

Do you mean allow the user to pick a point on a map other than where the gps auto says they are located?  If so yes.  It works a little different than collector though.  You do not touch a point to collect here, instead you slide the basemap around until the pin point is in the location you want then click the check to save it.

Ron,
Thank you for the reply.  I have to say that isn't what I wanted to hear though.  Just like Collector, there are trade-offs.  In Collector you can specify an existing feature as your location but you cannot have dependant/relevant questioning and vise versa in Survey123.

Ron,

Does this mean Survey123 doesn't allow you to use an existing point for the location? For example, I click on a point Collector that is configured to go to a Survey123 form. Survey123 will use 1) the gps location OR 2) the location of the pin on the map, but NOT the original location that was clicked?

Is it possible for you to create a table of the point feature ID, add that to an external table, and then select that feature from a list?

You could also run a calculation to filter the pulldata for populating the drop down existing list for features near you base on your current location.

Then, join the resulting survey data back to the original feature using the ID.
