Highlight multiple areas in ArcGIS Pro Layout View
I am creating a series of layout views that will all use the same map frame to highlight different areas, and I am wondering if there was a way to highlight multiple different sections in the map.
I have included an example of what I want it to do, and there are two ways that I can think of, but both of them have problems.
I was originally going to just use a polygon graphic within the layout view, so that I can just add it into each layout, but I can't seem to find a way to cut out a section of a polygon graphic. I don't want to draw 3-4 different polygons for each layout (there will be 6 or 7), so this didn't seem to work.
The other method is just using a polygon shapefile in the map frame, but I can't seem to find a way to show only certain layers in each layout view, so this doesn't seem to do what I want either.
Does anyone have any solutions to this problem, or am I just missing something?
