Symbolizing Reviewer table records problem

Dear All,

I can't use the "Symbolizing Reviewer table records" button GUID-BC09F634-7436-4B3C-8FAC-C95AD32BC3A8-web.gif when using a diferent user than the "SDE" user.

I have a SQL Server 2008 R2 Reviewer Database that was created with the GP Tool "Create Enterprise Geodatabase" (with the "Sde Owned Schema" checked) after that I used the GP Tool "Enable Data Reviewer" and add a user "A" with the GP Tool "Create Database User", finally I granted Privileges to the user "A" to all tables and REVDATASET (view and edit).

The user "A" can use the Reviewer Database in ArcMap, can also create versions, can create Revision Sessions, can run Batch jobs, can add records to the Reviewer table from individual checks or from Notepad.

The only thing that the user "A" can't do is use the "Symbolizing Reviewer table records" button.

If the connection is made with the SDE user everythig works fine.

Any solution on this?

Appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi António,

This issue seems like a permission issue as symbolizing the results on maps creates joined layer and views behind the scene and if the user accessing the Reviewer workspace does not have the correct privileges setup then this functionality won't work.

Please refer to the following Guide Book to get some more details about storing Reviewer workspace in a geodatabase in SQL Server:

http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/guide-books/extensions/data-reviewer/introduction-to-storin...

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Kumar
