I am trying to hyperlink a UNC path in the 'Access and Use Constraints' text box for a published map service. Every time that I try to add the link, the 'file://' gets removed, a '#' gets added, or 'http://' is added to the beginning of the path. Also, the back slashes are removed from the path. When I click on the link it directs me to the portal document page with the file location added to the end.
For example, I am trying to link : file://company.com/Apps/Data/geodatabase.gdb
and I get: https://webadapter.company.com/arcgis/home/item.html?id=xxxxx#company.comAppsDataGeodatabase.gdb
Has anybody been able to link to a file location in ArcGIS portal?
