Missing Icons in Survey123 Connect?

Hello everyone, I am testing out Survey123 Connect to try and convince my executive officers to invest, however, it would appear that some icons are missing from it and I can't see any previews

My operating system is Windows 10 and this is the latest build of Survey123 Connect

Hi.I run into this as well in my Windows machine from time to time.Really annoying!  What I typically do is to tap on the back arrow in the top-left corner and then tap on the Survey I want to refresh.  You will see a dialog saying that the XLSfile has changed. Say yes, so the preview is refreshed and you will be back in business. In my case I often get Connect to refresh automatically when I save my XLSFile, but I get this behavior from time to time too. It comes and goes.  We have this issue in our backlog but have not had a chance to look into it in depth. It looks specific to some Windows environments.  Thanks for reporting.

Do you have the latest version. 1.5.35? 
You could try going to your folder icon and selecting the excel file there directly.  See if that gets you into the form?

Although this topic is a little aged I recently came across an issue that causes these icons to become missing. It dont think this is what was occurring with the original poster, but given that it results in the same behavior, I figured I would add it to this thread. 

The first thing to note is that if the XLSX is removed from the survey folder under My Survey Designs, these two icons will disappear. It is probably good practice not to move these for any reason. 

The real issue I discovered is with creating surveys in Survey123 Connect with a period in the title. This will result in two duplicate surveys being created; both with the missing icons. It looks like it inexplicably created two XML documents, clearly confused by the period in the title. 

I have logged a bug for this issue (BUG-000102606). Hopefully this helps if someone comes across this issue in the future.
