How can I still us custom AXF files when source directories change?

Our agency recently made sweeping changes to our server/drives/directories.  All shared drives have moved and now have new names and drive letters.  Two questions I have, and I think they are related.

  1. How can I still use an AXF file I spent a lot of time customizing in ArcPad Studio when the source data was in one location but is now in another location?
  2. How can I check data back in with ArcPad Data Manager that was checked out before the location change?

I’m hoping there is an easy way to edit the AXF file to allow me to do both.

Not sure i understand your questions but,

1. The AXF that you have customized - You can use that as a template for a new check out of data from the new location.

2. You can modify contents of the AXF in ArcPad Studio - follow the steps described here How To: Alter the source database of a checked-in AXF file
