If I were to use esri's North American Routing Service from ArcGIS Online inside of a mxd in ArcMap, would it utilize our organization's AGOL credits?  I am logged into into our organization's AGOL account in ArcMap.

Hi Raymond,

Yes, this will use your Organization's credits.  Here is an overview of Service Credits:

Thank you, Jake.

I recall a few years back that it was possible to geocode in ArcMap (Desktop) using one of your locator services, and that it didn't consume credits.  I wasn't certain if that was the case for routing as well.

I appreciate your response.

Ray

It's actually free to use the World Geocoder is you are geocoding a single address.  For example, using the Find tool in ArcMap and finding an address.  When you batch geocode, this is when credits will be consumed.
