WMX Search Tool Error

Hello, 

Our team is trying to use the OOTB WMX search bar. All users are connected to the same Database; however only two users can actually use this functionality. The remaining users receive the error message below. The OOTB SQL query seems to be failing and I can't see how the SQL is constructed on the back-end to identify the problem. Does someone know what might be causing this? Or does someone know how the SQL statement is constructed?
