I want to split a polygon into strips with equal width but I got stuck by the Parcel editing idea: arcgis 10.0 - How to split a polygon into multiple equal-width polygons in ArcMap 10? - Geographic I...

I can't open Parcel Division to edit feature class so I must convert the feature class into Parcel fabric.

But I am not sure how to do this.  Can anyone point out a right way?

I think you might be using more recent software so would be advised to look there first

What is a parcel fabric?—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

You would need to import your feature class into the parcel fabric. Load data to a parcel fabric—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop would be the a good place to start. The videos here are also very useful. This would be a decent one to start with, I think:  Video Link : 3550

After you have all your data migrated into the fabric, you can use the parcel division tool.
