Can I delete photos from tablet that are attachments in Collector, after sync?

I am using Collector for the first time. We are using the app on a Samsung tablet, working offline and are taking many photos as attachments. We typically sync the app after every day in the field. Recently the tablet is giving a warning that the storage is almost full. My question is this: am I able to delete photos that are attachments in our Collector app project if everything is synced? Are those photos now saved in the cloud?

Hi Aaron,

Yes, you can delete the photos on your device after you synchronize your edits.  The photos are stored in the attachment table within a BLOB field as soon as you save your edit.  I don't even believe you will need to sync before you delete the pictures, but I would sync before deleting just to be safe.

Great, thanks Jake! I figured as much, but couldn't find any answers in a google search. Thanks for the confirmation, much appreciated!
