Hello,

I wonder is there any significant application difference between the "Citizen Problem Reporter" vs "Citizen Science Reporter" please?  It seems that only the geodatabase sample is different.  They both are being used as a Crowdsource product, correct?  None of them is retiring, correct?

Thanks alot!

Emily

You're right - the applications are the same; the only difference is the use case. Both are configurations of the crowdsourcing apps, but one configuration is targeting a 311-style workflow for citizens to report potholes, broken streetlights, etc, and the other is for engaging citizen scientists to submit their observations.

Other solutions that use these same apps include:

Mosquito Service Request | ArcGIS for Local Government

Vision Zero | ArcGIS for Local Government

The underlying apps - Crowdsource Reporter and Manager - are still very much in active development. The next release of ArcGIS Online will include some minor fixes and UI enhancements for Manager and we'll be adding new capabilities to Reporter to help control where reports are submitted, to allow reporters to edit their submissions, and to allow for more configuration of the UI. If there's something you'd like to see, let me know

Dear Allison,

Thank you very much for your reply.  These are great apps and will definitely utilize them in our organization.  Thank you and your team for all the great works!

Yes, it'd be nice if future version allow reporters edit their submissions.

Thanks again!
