Hi there,

Is this in the context of using the DBMS data with ArcGIS or something else? It might help if you could provide more context and details as to what exactly you want to do/what your workflow is.

For example, if you're asking what DBMS platforms we support for geodatabases (the spatial data model for ArcGIS), I would start here, What is a geodatabase?—ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

You could also work with data in a DBMS by using query layer functionality,

What is a query layer?—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

Hope this helps,

Are you referring to Data type?

For decimal numbers, you can keep the data type as FLOAT or DOUBLE.
