ArcPad 10 mobile and studio both fail to load layer.

I just created a multipoint feature  after much manipulation of a point feature. I have been trying to check both out and although that goes well and the dialog says it was successful, once I try to open the layers in ArcPad on a Juniper Archer 2 the multipoint file always fails to load. I have removed all the files off the device and tried re-checking out still with no luck.

The only thing I can think of not working is the multiple domains and subtypes I have for fields in the multipoint file.

Any advice would be great.
