Hello,

This is better described with images...basically when adding a line point to one part of a section it affects a far-away portion of the section...any ideas as to why this is happening would be great!

Section2.jpg is an image of the entire section with the areas highlighted in red.

AffectedAreaBeforeLinePoint.jpg - self explanatory

AffectedAreaAfterLinePoint.jpg - self explanatory

As far as I can tell, these areas are independent of each other.

Thanks!

Hello Mike,

it is best to submit a technical support case if you want someone to look at your issue using your data, but until then here are a few guesses:

  1. Parcel(s) have bad misclose and/or rotation and or scale that might modify one or more parcels. Use the QA add-in to check data quality
  2. Check you Parcel Fabric properties (Catalog window). Check your point behavior and line point tolerances.
  3. Make sure the line in question is not a curve
  4. The distance of the gap is not clear - make sure you are not zoomed beyond the XY Resolution.
  5. Missing join links? Unjoin the parcels
  6. Run regenerate sometimes help

Again, those are all guesses for now

Amir
