What is the difference between Cluster and Outlier Analysis (Anselin Local Morans I) and Hot Sopt Analysis (Getis-Old Gi*)?

Hello, could anyone help me to understand the difference between Cluster and Outlier Analysis (Anselin Local Morans I) and Hot Sopt Analysis (Getis-Old Gi*) by using a simple language? I checked the definition from Arcgis's website but still couldn't figure them out.

I'm testing the distribution of the population of neighborhoods in a certain area. I have tested Spatial Autocorrelation (Morans I), which shows significant. I then want to know what are the hot/cold spot areas. The Cluster and Outlier Analysis (Anselin Local Morans I) and Hot Sopt Analysis (Getis-Old Gi*) gave me two different results. I wonder which one I should choose? Many thanks!
