Issue with adding hosted feature layer into ArcGIS Pro

We have hosted some feature layers on ArcGIS Online and shared with a user. The user, on logging into ArcGIS Pro, is able to see the layers (in the portal section of the project, see right side of the attached image). But, when the user is trying to add any of these layers, then it is showing error "Item could not be added to an active map.". Can you please help me in sorting that error.

Found this thread having the same problem. I'm willing to bet it won't help, but I signed out and signed back in and was able to add the hosted feature.

I was connected to the same portal twice with different users which I suspect was the problem. As Ian-Huei Yau mentioned, logging out of these, and logging back in with the required user resolved the problem.
