We have an existing schematic diagram of a rail network which has been generated from a geometric network. A layout algorithm was applied and then manual editing of schematic features to produce the schematic diagram geometry required. The schematic needs to replicate an existing geoschematic that was developed in Microstation.
How do I go about adding data (in a GIS feature class) to the existing schematic diagram without having to generate the diagram again from scratch? Is that possible? The concept is to be able to add operational layers (typically points such as track faults, asset locations and emergency incidents) as a required to a base map (schematic diagram of the rail network).
