I am having a 5 -10 second lag time every time I pan or add a feature in ArcMap 10.5. I am hoping for real time pan, if at all possible.
I am using ArcMap 10.5 on my desktop computer and doing some very basic functions with very few layers. I am pulling some info from ArcGIS online for the base map but creating and editing features on my actual computer. I am not functioning on server and have the sole license.
At first I thought there may have been an issue with the internet (3 Mbps), but changed service to 50 Mbps down, 10 up. That didn't help. My next thought is computer configuration, but feel like it is well above recommendations:
1 TB of space
8 GB RAM
Intel Core i3-4130 CPU @ 3.4GHz
Windows 1064-bit Operating System
Any thoughts? or is this just something I am going to have to live with?
